Privacy Policy

FluidQR keeps QR generation simple and browser-based. This page explains the limited data involved when you use the site and the analytics tools that help improve it.

Last updated: May 6, 2026

Overview

FluidQR is designed as a browser-based QR code generator. The information you type into the generator is used to create the QR code in your browser and is not intentionally sent to FluidQR servers for QR generation.

This policy explains what may be collected when you visit the site, how uploaded logos are handled, and how analytics tools help us understand site performance.

QR code content and logos

QR code content you enter, such as URLs, Wi-Fi details, contact details, or other text, is processed locally in your browser to generate the QR code preview and downloads.

If you upload a logo, the file is used locally in your browser session to place it inside the QR code. We do not intentionally upload or store that logo on our servers as part of the generator workflow.

Downloaded QR codes are created for you to save locally. You are responsible for how you use and share those downloaded files.

Analytics and performance tools

We may use Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics, and Vercel Speed Insights to understand traffic, page usage, device/browser performance, and site reliability.

These tools may collect information such as pages visited, approximate location, browser type, device type, referring pages, interaction events, and performance metrics. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies depending on your browser settings and region.

We use this information to improve FluidQR, diagnose issues, and understand which parts of the site are useful. We do not use analytics data to read the contents of QR codes you create.

Cookies and similar technologies

FluidQR itself does not require an account or login cookie to generate QR codes.

Third-party analytics providers may set cookies or use similar identifiers. You can control cookies through your browser settings or by using privacy tools provided by those third parties.

Third-party services

The site is hosted and delivered through third-party infrastructure providers such as Vercel. Analytics may be provided by Google and Vercel. These providers process limited technical and usage data under their own terms and privacy policies.

If a QR code points to a third-party website or service, opening that destination is outside FluidQR and is governed by that destination’s own policies.

Data retention

We do not intentionally store QR content or uploaded logo files as part of the generator workflow.

Analytics and hosting providers may retain aggregated or event-level usage and performance data according to their own retention settings and policies.

Your choices

You can choose not to upload a logo, avoid entering sensitive information, clear your browser data, block analytics scripts, or use browser privacy settings to limit tracking.

If you need to create QR codes containing sensitive information, review whether a QR code is the right format before sharing it. Anyone who scans a QR code may be able to access the encoded content or destination.

Contact

If you have privacy questions about FluidQR, please contact the site owner through the channel where you normally communicate with FluidQR.
